The law does indeed affect cis people. BUT...
I've been mistaken for a man many, many times. For real. With my rack! I have witnesses. But here's the thing - when people realize their mistake, they're usually embarrassed and apologetic. Occasionally they look confused. At worst they make it clear they don't like how I look.
BUT, I don't worry about getting the shit beaten out of me. I experience disapproval for how I *look*, but not hate or fear of who I *am*.
So yeah, the law is an inconvenience for some cis folks. But let's not turn this into #CisLivesMatter, ok?
